Mongolia boasts one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, thanks in part to a booming copper and gold mine. But the Anglo-Australian mining company has struggled to live up to its promises of world-class environmental standards, threatening the water supply of nomads who have lived in the Gobi Desert for generations.
